 ADELAIDE MEDICAL CENTRE NEWS

  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) FURTHER DOWN THIS PAGE

  • WE ARE NOW MOVING TO A SYSTEM OF PHONE TRIAGE FOR ALL OUR PATIENTS.  IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AN APPOINTMENT BOOKED THIS WILL BE CHANGED TO A PHONE CONSULTATION.  THE DR WILL TRY AND MANAGE YOUR CARE ON THE PHONE AND WILL ADVISE IF YOU STILL NEED TO COME INTO THE SURGERY.

  • IN ALL CASES: Do not come into the surgery if you have any symptoms however mild (eg Fever, new continuous cough) and follow latest advice to self isolate at home.

Equal Opportunities

Our practice is opposed to discrimination against people on the grounds of age, gender, sex, sexual orientation, ethnic origin, religion, disability or social class.

The practice is purpose-built with all consulting rooms on the same level. There is a disabled toilet opposite reception. A wheelchair is available for use and there is a bell at the bottom of the ramp to call for assistance when entering the building. We offer home visits where access to our practice is impossible for a disabled person.

Violent or Abusive Patients

We know that people visiting the surgery can sometimes be worried and anxious and we will do our very best to meet your needs. However, the surgery has a zero-tolerance policy on violence and verbal abuse towards its staff and doctors and people behaving violently or abusive will be removed from the practice list.
