All consultations are totally confidential. Information in your medical records may be shared with other medical personnel directly involved in your care, such as district nurses. If you object to information being shared then please let us know. Information about your will not be given to anyone else without your consent except in very rare cases, like child protection issues.

As an NHS organisation, our clinical performance is closely monitored by the local Primary Care Trust. Information may be used by the Trust for payment verification, training and auditing purposes although any details that could identify the patient will remain totally confidential.

Information is held on computer for all patients who have their rights safeguarded by the Data Protection Act.
