  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) FURTHER DOWN THIS PAGE

  • WE ARE NOW MOVING TO A SYSTEM OF PHONE TRIAGE FOR ALL OUR PATIENTS.  IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AN APPOINTMENT BOOKED THIS WILL BE CHANGED TO A PHONE CONSULTATION.  THE DR WILL TRY AND MANAGE YOUR CARE ON THE PHONE AND WILL ADVISE IF YOU STILL NEED TO COME INTO THE SURGERY.

  • IN ALL CASES: Do not come into the surgery if you have any symptoms however mild (eg Fever, new continuous cough) and follow latest advice to self isolate at home.

Home Visits

Doctor's bagHome visits are for housebound patients and the seriously ill.

Please do not ask for a home visit unless you really cannot get to the surgery because of a health problem.

Patients are always best assessed in the surgery where all the facilities and equipment are kept. Also, GPs can see several patients at the surgery in the time it takes to visit one patient at home.

If you are too unwell to attend the surgery and you ask for a visit, a doctor will telephone you first to discuss whether a visit is necessary.

Any request for a visit must be received by the practice before 11.00am.

A decision to visit remains at the doctor's discretion and is based on medical justification.
