We are a training practice, which means at times we have fully qualified doctors spending time with us to gain experience in general practice. As part of their training to become a GP, registrars and newly qualified hospital doctors are required to video some of their consultations or to be observed by a senior colleague. You will be asked for your consent, before and after the consultation, if you are happy to have your consultation recorded.
The Practice is regularly involved in teaching medical students. They learn a great deal by observing other doctors and seeing patients. However, your permission will always be requested before a student is present during your consultation.
